Carlsbad Caverns National Park

There are more than 300 caves in the Chihuahuan Desert and the Guadalupe Mountains of south-eastern New Mexico and western Texas with 113 caves in the Calsbad Caverns National Park. The Big Room is the most accessible area in the park - you can even take a lift into the cave. Everyone visiting the park should take the 2km self guided tour that starts at the natural entrance to the Big Room and if you have more time and money then the ranger guided tours will get you deeper into the caves.
