Cooperstown

This little village on Otsego Lake is best known as the birthplace of baseball (although the origins of the game are unclear and there is some evidence suggesting that the game did not originate in Cooperstown) and the town's main attraction is the National Baseball Hall of Fame. It is a really lovely town and you don't need to be a baseball fan to enjoy your visit.
